Integrations and AI settings

Where to connect other tools, manage webhooks, and control AI assistants and agents.

This page lists the screens. The pages it links to explain each connection in full.

Settings > Integrations. Connections fall into two kinds:

  • Your own: your calendar, mail and file storage. Connecting or disconnecting one affects only you.
  • Organization-wide: tools such as Microsoft 365, Asana, Harvest, Workamajig, Smartsheet and Microsoft Project. Disconnecting most of these, and connecting Microsoft 365 or Workamajig, needs organization.update.

Screens reached from the hub:

Screen Who can open it
GitHub github.view, when GitHub is turned on for your organization. Installing or removing needs github.connect.
Jira import, Smartsheet and Planner import project.create
Asana people mapping organization.update
Timesheet people mapping, export, team timesheets, calendar project rules

See Integrations and Hours and timesheets. Directory sync is covered in Security and admin.

Settings > Webhook Allowlist. Needs webhooks.manage. List the web addresses ProjectBrain may send webhooks to, and rotate the signing secret. After you rotate it, the old secret keeps working for a short overlap.

The AI & Integrations group holds the settings for AI assistants that connect to ProjectBrain.

With mcp.connect:

  • MCP Connections: connect an AI assistant, see your connections and whether each is still in use.
  • MCP Activity: what your connected assistants have done.
  • Custom Prompts: reusable prompts your team can run from an assistant. Not shown to external users.
  • Voice → Task: turn voice notes into tasks. Not shown to external users.

With mcp.admin:

  • AI Agents: the bot users your organization has.
  • MCP Policy: organization-wide rules for AI assistants, such as whether a bot may finish a task without review.
  • Scheduled Runs and Inbound Webhooks: run prompts on a schedule or when another system calls in.
  • External Access: read-only AI access for clients.
